The role‚€™s objective is to drive the performance of the Soft Goods verticals in France (from traffic to revenue ) & the performance of the trade events in these verticals Soft goods verticals include: Collectibles, Home & Garden, Fashion For each of the soft goods verticals, define the inventory strategy and the trade calendar and drive the execution of both, in partnership with eBay‚€™s cross functional teams. Identify inventory gaps based on a deep understanding and analysis of customer, site and demand data: Define priority categories/subcategories, products and price levels required Identify most suited sourcing options between domestic professional sellers, imports or consumer sellers Prepare inventory briefs and brief the relevant departments Monitor inventory improvements/performance and work to resolve issues if needed Work with the marketing/communications team to develop vertically specific marketing campaigns when relevant ‚€“ brief the team, review execution and track performance of marketing campaigns Define the trade calendar covering the soft goods verticals and manage its delivery: Identify products and price levels required Prepare sourcing briefs and brief the relevant departments Ensure products are sourced and listed in line with the sourcing brief (quality of listings, competitive pricing, shipping costs, size of inventory, timeline, ‚€ ) Use internal merchandising tools to highlight the events QA the events created Work with the marketing/communications team to generate traffic to the events ‚€“ brief the team, review execution and track performance of marketing levers used Monitor the sales and implement changes to the campaigns if needed Merchandise events by leveraging all eBay tools and merchandising placements: Use all available tools (local and global) Monitor traffic and conversion and adapt events if necessary Liaise with the other vertical managers to share best practices and leverage common resources when possible to drive execution faster and improve quality of output. Monitor the activities from the competing offers Surface the needs of French buyers and relay them to the Central Operations team with the Verticals lead(particularly relating to the user experience) The role reports to the Verticals Lead for France eBay is a Subsidiary of eBay.
